Fumigation Operations — safe, guaranteed, audit-ready
IPCS is among the select companies authorized by the Government of India's FSSAI and Ministry of Agriculture for storage pest management and fumigation. We fumigate godowns, warehouses, shipping containers, and stored commodities across Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, issuing the fumigation certificates that trade, export, and audit compliance require.
Problem signs
Signs you need this treatment
- Stored-grain pests (weevils, beetles, moths) in godown stock
- Export consignments requiring fumigation certificates
- Container stuffing needing pre-shipment treatment
- FSSAI or buyer audits flagging storage pest risk

Acting early costs a fraction of acting late
Pest problems compound quietly — colonies grow, damage spreads, and treatment scope (and cost) grows with them. An inspection now settles it either way: if it's nothing, you'll know; if it's something, you'll catch it at its cheapest stage.
The inspection is free, takes under an hour, and comes with a fixed written quote — no obligation to proceed.

How the treatment works
Assessment
Commodity, stack volume, and enclosure sealing are assessed; the correct fumigant and dosage are calculated.
Sealing
Stacks or containers are sealed under gas-tight covers; safety perimeter and signage established.
Fumigation & exposure
Fumigant applied by trained, licensed operators; mandated exposure period maintained and monitored.
Aeration & certificate
Safe aeration, clearance check, and issuance of the fumigation certificate for your records.
Safety & chemicals
Safe for families, pets & production lines
Fumigation is strictly a licensed-operator activity. IPCS teams are trained at the Indian Grain Storage Institute (GoI) and follow full sealing, signage, exposure, and aeration protocols before any clearance.
All chemicals are approved by the Central Insecticides Board and applied by technicians licensed under the Insecticides Act, 1968. MSDS documentation available for commercial clients.
Pricing
What it costs
Quoted per stack/container volume and commodity type. Certificates included in scope.
Every job starts with a free inspection and ends with a fixed written quote — the price you're told is the price you pay.

FAQ
Fumigation Operations — common questions
Are your fumigation certificates valid for exports and audits?
Yes. IPCS is authorized by GoI's FSSAI & Ministry of Agriculture for storage pest management and fumigation, and our certificates document fumigant, dosage, exposure, and clearance.
How long does godown fumigation take?
Sealing and application take a day; the exposure period is typically 5–7 days depending on fumigant and commodity, followed by aeration and clearance.
Can operations continue in unaffected parts of the warehouse?
Often yes — stack-level fumigation under gas-tight covers with a marked safety perimeter allows the rest of the facility to keep working.
Which pests does fumigation address?
Stored-product pests — grain weevils, flour beetles, khapra beetle, pulse beetle, and storage moths — in stock that can't be treated by sprays.
